Brewers Row KSQ

225 Birch Street, Kennett Square, PA

Located on Birch Street in Kennett Square, Brewers Row KSQ is a 16,000 square-foot building with a long and rich history. Originally constructed in 1903 for the West Chester Kennett Wilmington Electric Railway Company, the space served as a trolley barn until the mid-1920s. It was then acquired by the Mushroom Growers Cooperative and used as a spore production facility through the 1990s, before becoming a cleaning and repair center for firefighter garments under Lion Care Inc.

In 2017, the property was purchased by its current owners and repurposed as Brewers Row KSQ. Today, it’s home to Braeloch Brewing, West Branch Distilling Company, and Chaikhana Chai—three locally rooted businesses that continue to add to the building’s legacy and the growing Birch Street corridor.
